HTX Poolates brings Pilates-inspired movement, breathwork, and aquatic stretching to one of Houston's most beautiful outdoor pools — every Saturday and Sunday morning.
The pool changes everything. Buoyancy lifts the weight off your joints while adding gentle, full-body resistance to every movement. The result is a workout that simultaneously challenges your core, restores your range of motion, and leaves you calmer than when you arrived.
HTX Poolates is taught by Nick Alvarado at the Lodge 88 Swim Club — a gorgeous outdoor pool surrounded by mature trees, with lounge chairs, umbrellas, private changing rooms, and a lifeguard on duty at all times. This isn't a gym class in the water. It's a Saturday morning ritual.
Perfect for: active recovery, low-impact rehab, stress relief, and anyone who wants a morning workout that doesn't wreck the rest of their day.
Joint issues, post-surgery recovery, or chronic pain — the water gives you freedom to move without impact. Bring your noodle, your hat, and your timeline.
You like to move, but you want to feel restored afterward — not wrecked. This is Pilates for people who take their recovery seriously.
A small group, a beautiful pool, a morning that sets the tone for the whole weekend. Classes cap at 6 students by design — it stays personal.
